Noticing
that not many classes were using their recycling and garbage bins appropriately,
the Eco-Team challenged the school to place items in the correct bin.
In preparation
for this challenge we read some books about the importance and benefits of
recycling.
We also
completed a sorting activity about items to toss in the garbage and recycling bin.
Finally,
we created a bulletin board reflecting our lesson and the Eco-Team challenge.
